Fun in the Sun: Where is The Grazie Girl?

With my new foray into social media — The Grazie Girl is now on Instagram — I’m looking at my travel photos in a different way. First, and most obvious, as I look back on the pictures I have taken, the wonderful memories are rushing through my mind. And I can’t wait to go back to each and every place. Second, my travel photographer’s eye is changing. I love and appreciate some of the photos I have taken, but I’m sorry I did not capture different angles and shots of some of these people and places.

Regardless, I’ve found many photos that I feel capture my mood. So here’s the first one I’d like to share.

Exploring my inner diva.

Clearly there is not too much in the way of markers, but I believe my general aura might give away my location.

So…where am I?

Ciao…and good luck…THE GRAZIE GIRL. 🙆🏻😍

  1. I don’t think I’d be too far out on a limb to hazard that you’re on a beach somewhere. Italy, perhaps? Is that the top of an orange beach umbrella behind you? I, too, just signed up on Instagram, but I’m still figuring out the ins and outs of Twitter, so I haven’t actually participated on Instagram yet.
I just found your blog. Congrats on your travels… lookin’ good!

    1. Lol…yes it’s a beach. And you are correct about the umbrella. I will say it is not in Calabria. 😉 I will check your blog out. And don’t worry about Twitter and Instagram. You will get the hang of it. I didn’t know anything about them either, but I just kept practicing. Good luck!

      1. I’m headed to the Gargano area Monday. I would definitely recommend it! Buon Viaggio, Cristina

      2. Wow!! That’s amazing since I was IN Gargnano just a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was beautiful but a little isolated. But the beauty definitely makes up for that. I’m currently writing some posts about my trip. We walked to the next town over and rented a boat with driver for 4 hours to travel the lake. It was spectacular! Enjoy your trip!!!!!

      3. I didn’t mean Gargnano, but the Gargano. it isn’t a town, but an area. it’s the little ‘spur’ before the heel of Puglia. it’s a breathtaking area!

      4. Lol. Ok. I’m sure it will still be lovely. Enjoy!
